SALE

Note: this not a postal auction

How to Order

It is simple to immediately order anything of interest in our catalogue by e-mail, telephone, fax or even snail-mail. (We do not have an on-line ordering facility, yet)

Simply quote the Lot reference numbers and prices of the items you wish to buy and transmit it to us by any of the methods mentioned above.

All available lots will be allocated to you immediately and an invoice or e-mail will be sent to you the same day.

VISA or Mastercard payments are welcomed. For your own security, your card number and expiry can safely be faxed, telephoned or mailed to ensure fast delivery of your stamps.

Any enquirers will also be sent our regular catalogue by mail. (Mail customers also receive further advantages).

Note: Any lots which fail to sell, are repeated in the following sale with a reduction of around 10% until sold.

STOCKLISTS

The stocklists list our complete stock with selling prices. Order any quantity from these lists stating Country, SG/Yvert/Scott number, mint or used, price. Using our order forms is the easiest method. Orders can be faxed or mailed using this Order Form or e-mailed.

Orders are almost always despatched same day as received.

PAYMENT

CREDIT CARD: We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. This is the simplest form of payment and can be effected from anywhere in the world whatever currency you use. All we need is the card number and expiry date.

CHEQUE or POSTAL ORDER: These should be made payable to Phil-Index. Cheques must be in Sterling and drawn on a British Bank. Sterling Bankers drafts are obviously acceptable.

STANDING CHARGE

Our Standing Charge is added to each despatch. This covers postage, packing, insurance and a contribution towards posting the catalogue to you. (We have no subscription charges). If paying by cheque, please add it to the total order.

The Standing Charges are as follows:
UK BUYERS: £1.30 if value under £75. Otherwise £5.50 (Registered)
EUROPE (inc Eire): £1.95 if value under £75. Otherwise £7.50 (Registered)
OUTSIDE EUROPE: £2.45 if value under £50. Otherwise £7.50 (Registered)

BULKY LOTS: Where a package includes books, collections or bulky cover lots, postage will be added at cheapest rates.

DISCOUNT

Please do not ask for discount. There is NO discount, (not even to the Philatelic trade). Prices are kept to their barest minimum. Every month, stamps of which we have most, are reduced in price by an overall total of around £500. (Check this by comparing one month's stock-list with another). Also, as mentioned above, we reduce any unsold items in the sale by about 10% in the following sale, until they have gone.

GUARANTEE

Any item that does not bring complete satisfaction may be returned within a reasonable time (a few days) for full refund/credit. No reason is necessary. All stamps offered in our Sale and stock-lists are, in our opinion, genuine in all respects. If a Certificate is required, an extension will be granted in all cases. Payment must be made to us first (fully refundable) but all certification expenses are for the prospective buyer's account, irrespective of the outcome of the certificate(s).

Remember, you may call or e-mail us for a free catalogue.
