Welcome to a great new year of French Colony collecting and judging by your good response to our Stocklist Issue 7, the season has well and truly begun. So thanks for all your orders from home and abroad. We will aim to keep our stocks well fortified and are continually adding new material.
Stamp collectors, by their very nature, will normally have a great interest in Geography and History and the political changes over the years. With the current political world scene, one almost fears switching on the news these days. With leaders like Putin and Netanyahu bent on murder and destruction and this week’s American madness in Minneapolis and threats to Greenland, it gives one concern for the younger generation and what they may expect over the next decades. I don’t mean to cast gloom within this little newsletter, but we do live in interesting times and I am thankful that we are fortunate to have the safety that we do have, which allows us to get on with our lives and, of course, our stamp collecting.
