Greetings again to all who enter this portal.
I’m pleased to say that the "season" has begun well and I have noticed quite an increase in buyers of used over mint stamps. While mint stamps allow a better appreciation of the design and their clean appearance, the history attached to used stamps adds so much more, particularly if the postmark and dates are clear to see. To find a postmark of say, some small village in the African outback can provide an extra satisfaction and enhance a collection quite substantially.
So just another month left of this bi-monthly catalogue before the, dare I say it, Christmas issue comes out. As usual the Special Items and Stocklists have been updated today and there is still plenty left through which to browse, before our next publication.
