Greetings once again to all our French and Belgian Colony collectors wherever you are in today’s mixed-up world. Christmas is suddenly upon us with all its demands on our pockets and hopes for a peaceful holiday period. Even we have jumped on the "Black Friday" bandwagon! Having said that, I have been somewhat surprised at the response to the black Friday lists we sent out and it will certainly help relieve us of some of the excess stocks that have built up for certain values over the years.
Much of my "job" is to break up collections into our stocks, discarding stamps which are unfit to sell, and adding to our lists of available values. And, although I find that a hard but enjoyable exercise, it is always a relief when I get to the end of a particularly large collection, which I have just done this week. Since our last Newsletter we have added to all the Chinese and Middle East Colonies as well as the American areas including Martinique and St Pierre et Miquelon.
So now we can relax a little and concentrate on preparing our next Issue for January/February 2026. I wish you an equally relaxing time preparing for the festivities and hopefully, finding a few space-fillers in our refreshed lists.
