Just ten days left of the Spring Sale, so don’t leave it too late. Bear in mind too there are to be a few price changes after the 1st of May. After a decade or more our prices are rising fractionally as well as our standing charge. Details will be in our next issue, however, fear not, they are not anywhere near as swingeing as our beloved Supermarkets and Insurance companies.
A small article in Gibbons Stamp Monthly revealed that the new Royal Mail postal rates are still quite substantially below the European average rates, particularly the 2nd class cost. The other stamp magazine, The Stamp Collector is a brilliant conveyor of good, interesting articles concerning a wide range of collecting spheres within stamps. This month they have an article over a few pages covering French Cameroons. The editor Alison Boyd does well to find sources of these articles each month as well as covering the interests of the Coin collectors in the same periodical.
Our stocklists on this website have been updated so that you can check which stamps have gone and what is new. Also, we’ve deleted all the sold items from the Extraneous listing since the last ten days in order for you to see which lots are still available as at today.
Remember, there’s just ten days left of the sale after which we’ll send you the Summer stocklists. You will find an exciting and larger section of Extraneous items at the back of the new issue.
